Ingredients
  

  • 1 fresh cucumber thinly sliced
  • 1 lime cut into wedges or slices
  • 2 tsp maple syrup optional, or adjust to taste
  • 1 liter cold filtered or bottled water
  • A handful of ice cubes for serving
  • A few fresh mint leaves for serving

Instructions
 

  • Thinly slice the cucumber.
  • Cut the lime into wedges or rounds.
  • Add cucumber, lime, and maple syrup to a large pitcher.
  • Pour in the cold water and stir gently.
  • Chill in the fridge if desired.
  • Just before serving, add fresh mint and ice.
  • Pour into glasses and enjoy!

Notes

Mint goes last – Add just before serving to avoid bitterness.
Naturally sweetened – You can skip the maple syrup or use another sweetener like honey or agave.
Extra citrus flavor? – Lightly squeeze the lime wedges before adding.
Storage – Best consumed within 24 hours. Keep it chilled!
