This high-protein blackcurrant smoothie is creamy, refreshing, and naturally sweetened with banana and honey. Made with Greek yogurt and fresh blackcurrants, it's a perfect summer breakfast or healthy snack with no refined sugar.

Ingredients
  

  • 70 g blackcurrants
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 150 g Greek yogurt 2%
  • 10 ice cubes
  • fresh mint for serving

Instructions
 

  • Add 70 g blackcurrants to a blender.
  • Peel and add 1 banana.
  • Add 150 g Greek yogurt and 1 tsp honey.
  • Add 10 ice cubes.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and add a little more honey if needed.
  • Pour into a glass and garnish with fresh mint.

Notes

Use ripe blackcurrants for the best flavor.
Choose a ripe banana, but not a green one.
Fresh mint adds a cooling, refreshing flavor.
If using a hand blender, be careful with the ice or let it soften slightly first.
Best served immediately.
