Cold Green Tea with Lemon and Sugar

This refreshing cold green tea with lemon and sugar is a better alternative to store-bought iced teas. Made with simple, natural ingredients, it’s light, zesty, and perfect for warm days.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 green tea bag
  • 500 ml hot water
  • 5 teaspoons white sugar adjust to taste
  • 5 slices of lemon
  • Ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Brew the Tea
  • Place the green tea bag in 500 ml hot water. Let it steep for 15 minutes for a strong flavor.
  • Add Lemon and Sugar
  • Remove the tea bag. Add 5 slices of lemon and stir in the sugar until fully dissolved.
  • Cool Down
  • Let the tea cool at room temperature for about 20-30 minutes.
  • Serve Cold
  • Add plenty of ice cubes before serving. Serve with extra lemon slices if desired.

Notes

You can adjust the amount of sugar to your taste or use honey or another natural sweetener as a healthier alternative.
For extra flavor, add a few mint leaves or a splash of lemon juice before serving.
